OpenSuse tip: Switch between KDM and GDM

  • vim /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager
  • edit the DISPLAYMANAGER=”xxx”  , xxx will be what’s alread set as your display manager, either KDM or GDM.  Change it to whatever you would like.
