Gnu Screen Tip: Password Protect Session
- Go into command mode C-a :
- type “password” and hit enter, screen will then prompt for you to set a password for the session. You will have to type it in twice.
You can have screen do this simply by placing the word ‘password’ at the bottom of your .screenrc file as well.
